CHALLENGES FACED BY THE STARTUP & THE JOURNEY OF THE STARTUP ON SHARK TANKS INDIA

The founder also faced some challenges in scaling up his business and reaching out to more customers. He needs funds, mentorship and guidance to take his startup to the next level. That's why he decided to pitch his idea on Shark Tank India, a popular reality show where entrepreneurs present their business ideas to a panel of investors (sharks) and try to convince them to invest in their ventures.

Nihaal Singh Adarsh entered the show with confidence and enthusiasm. He demonstrated his product and explained its features and benefits. He also shared his story and vision for his company. He asked for Rs. 101 for 2% equity in his company, valuing it at Rs. 5050.

The sharks were impressed by his invention and praised him for his creativity and social impact. They also asked him some questions about his market size, revenue model, competitors, customer feedback and future plans. Nihaal Singh Adarsh answered them with clarity and conviction.

However, some sharks also expressed their concerns about his valuation, which they felt was too high for an early-stage startup. They also pointed out some challenges that he might face in terms of regulatory approvals, quality control, distribution channels and customer acquisition.

Peyush Bansal, the founder of Lenskart, an online eyewear retailer, was particularly interested in Nihaal Singh Adarsh's product. He said that he had faced similar problems with fogging of glasses while wearing masks during the pandemic. He appreciated Nihaal Singh Adarsh's innovation and offered him his contact number. He said that he would not invest in his current venture but would be open to investing in any other innovation that he would find interesting in the future.

Anupam Mittal, the founder of Shaadi.com, an online matrimonial service provider, and Namita Thapar, the CFO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a biopharmaceutical company, jointly agreed to invest in Nihaal Singh Adarsh's venture. They offered him Rs. 101 for 4% equity in his company, valuing it at Rs. 2525.

Nihaal Singh Adarsh was happy with their offer but wanted to include Peyush Bansal in the deal as well. He asked him if he would join Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar for 4% equity in exchange of Rs. 101 at a valuation of Rs. 2525.
