FUNDING IN SHARK TANKS INDIA

In Shark Tank India, the pitchers from NOCD asked for 50 lakhs in exchange for 2% equity. However, the sharks had concerns about the business and its strategy. Shark Ashneer was not impressed with the name and felt that it sounded like a drug name. Aman was concerned about the sales and marketing strategy and said that if he were to invest, he would need to work hard.

Namita and Anupam also felt that they didn't have the expertise in the sector and may not be able to help the business grow. Vineeta Singh, on the other hand, made a counteroffer to take 20% equity for 20 lakhs and 30 lakhs in debt. The pitchers took a few minutes and countered with an offer of 10% equity for 20 lakhs and 30 lakhs in debt.

Finally, a deal was made with Vineeta Singh at a price of 20 lakhs for 15% equity and 30 lakhs rupees in debt. However, there was a condition that the company had to change its name and packaging. It is not clear whether the deal was accepted by the pitchers or not.

The funding process for NOCD in Shark Tank India was challenging, with several counteroffers and negotiations. However, the startup was able to secure funding and support from Vineeta Singh, who believed in the company's potential and was willing to invest in it.
